Backyard Path

A simple path with a massive impact. The existing gravel path in this yard wasn't cutting it—aesthetically or functionally.

Weeds were a constant problem, and the loose gravel was difficult to shovel in winter. The clients needed a more usable path between their back door and the alley where they park.

Rather than remove all the gravel and install weed fabric that would eventually fail, we added a paver path that is weed-resistant and easy to shovel. A small crushed-rock area remains for storage, while the end of the path widens into a mini patio for socializing while grilling.
