Your finished design provides a roadmap for bringing your garden to life. Depending on the project, you can work with Light Song Gardens for planting and installation, implement the plan yourself, or use the design to request bids from a landscape contractor.

Native plants are encouraged whenever appropriate, while every design is tailored to the client's site, needs, and aesthetic.

On-Site Consultation
Every project begins with an on-site consultation to discuss your goals, ideas, and priorities.
Proposal
After your consultation, you'll receive a project summary and proposal outlining the recommended design scope and estimated cost.
Site Analysis
As needed, site conditions are assessed and detailed measurements are taken before design begins.
Conceptual Layout
For larger projects, we'll explore layout options and establish a direction before developing the detailed design.
Revisions
Your design is refined based on your feedback, with additional details added as the plan develops.
Final Design
Your final plan may include plant placement and quantities, dimensions, material recommendations, and other details needed to bring the design to life. Additional resources, such as a management guide, are included when appropriate.
Once your project comes to life, design continues through ongoing garden management. Light Song Gardens offers management services to all design clients at an hourly rate.
Pricing
Design services are billed at $80/hour. Following your initial consultation, you'll receive a proposed scope and estimated project cost before design work begins.
