Front Lawn Transformation

This project was designed during my time at Gardenwerks and installed by their skilled landscape crew.

Traditional lawns can require significant water and regular maintenance while offering relatively little ecological value. The goal of this project was to update the front yard to use water in a more beneficial way.

At out initial consultation, the client mentioned she enjoys sitting out in her front lawn to sip her morning coffee. She was willing to let go of as much lawn as needed.

We decided to let go of the entire lawn, creating a densely planted pollinator border with a crusher fine path and small flagstone seating area.
