Front Lawn Transformation

Designed during my time designing at Gardenwerks, and installed by their skilled landscape crew.

Lawns take a lot of water and regular maintenance to keep up, and don’t offer much aesthetic or ecological interest in return. The goal of this project was to update the front yard to use water in a more beneficial way.

At out initial consult, the client mentioned she enjoys sitting out in her front lawn to sip her morning coffee. She was willing to let go of as much lawn as needed.

We decided to let go of the entire lawn, creating a densely planted pollinator border with a crusher fine path and small flagstone seating area.
